Expand description

Error types related to processes.

Variants§

§

NoSuchApp

The process has been removed and no longer exists. For example, the kernel could stop a process and re-claim its resources.

§

OutOfMemory

The process does not have enough memory to complete the requested operation.

§

AddressOutOfBounds

The provided memory address is not accessible or not valid for the process.

§

InactiveApp

The process is inactive (likely in a fault or exit state) and the attempted operation is therefore invalid.

§

KernelError

This likely indicates a bug in the kernel and that some state is inconsistent in the kernel.

§

AlreadyInUse

Indicates some process data, such as a Grant, is already borrowed.

source§

fn from(err: Error) -> Result<(), ErrorCode>

Converts to this type from the input type.
source§

impl PartialEq for Error

source§

fn eq(&self, other: &Error) -> bool

This method tests for self and other values to be equal, and is used by ==.
1.0.0 · source§

fn ne(&self, other: &Rhs) -> bool

This method tests for !=. The default implementation is almost always sufficient, and should not be overridden without very good reason.
